Redneck Palooza Party, Sport Island Pub - October 12, 2017

The turnout for this event was phenomenal! It was standing room only with most of the party-goers donning their best "Redneck" garb. A big thanks goes out to the Lanzi's for donating the venue and terrific food. We dined on a buffet of saucy BBQ chicken, roadkill stuffed pork loin, a fantastic pasta dish, redneck baked beans, and many other delicious sides. And it was all topped off with a Napoleon for dessert! The DJ spun some great country tunes while our guests entered their silent auction bids. Once again, our local merchants and supporter came through with wonderful items that made both the silent and live auctions a huge success. Trophies were awarded to the Redneck Queen and King. After all was said and done, the SPC raised more than $10,000!

Summer Chicken BBQ Fundraiser - July 23, 2017

The Summer Chicken BBQ Fundraiser, held Sunday, July 23, was a big success raising close to $12,000! The chicken was rotisseried to perfection, with the baked beans, cole slaw and other accompaniments rounding out the meal. As usual, the silent auction was a blast, with so many terrific items to win, all donated by our generous local merchants. And the band kept everyone tapping their feet. A big "thanks" goes out to all of the volunteers, donors and merchants who made it all happen.
